Blues earn 5 of a possible 6 points this past week!
Blues happy to be coming back to Dundas!
The Blues played some good hockey this past week earning 5 of a possible 6 points. It started in Glanbrook on Wednesday night against the 1st place Rangers. With the Blues down 2-1 half way through the 3rd period Dan Attridge set up Chris Cudek to tie up the game and force OT. After the Blues rang one off the post the Rangers came down the ice and scored the winner. Jeff McDonough scored the other goal for the Blues.
The next night at Chedoke Arena the Blues outplayed the Hagersville Hawks beating them 4-1. Goal scorers for the Blues were Cudek, Brady Bannon, Stephen Bell and Colin Kijowski. Jake Fleming got the win in goal.
Saturday night the Blues traveled to Hespeler to take on the Shamrocks and laid a thumping on them winning 7-1. Cudek led the way with 2 goals while one each went to Bell, McDonough, Bannon, Brandon Waterhouse and Patrick Vulgan. Connor Ogg earned the win in goal for the Blues.
Starting this week the Blues will play the remainder of their home games at Olympic Arena, the team is happy to be back playing in Dundas. This Thursday the Niagara Riverhawks are in town, game time is 8:20pm.
