Blues move into a tie for third place!

Split the week!

The Blues are now tied in third place after a win and a loss last week. Home at Olympic Arena the Blues hit double digits beating Hespeler Shamrocks 10-3.  Connor Noonan led the Blues with 3 goals and 2 assists, Patrick Vulgan had 2 goals and 2 assists while Will Thomas had 4 assists. Bill Stewart, Stephen Bell, Brady Bannon, Matt Wright and Chris Cudek were the other goals scorers.
The following night in Grimsby the PeachKings beat the Blues 7-4 in a game where the shots were pretty well even with the play back and forth the entire 60 minutes. The score didn’t indicate the game. Jamison Buck scored twice while Vulgan and Noonan also scored.  The game got rough in the third period when a line brawl broke out with each team having three players ejected from the game, which resulted in suspensions. This will leave the Blues short handed for their three games this week.
The Blues host the Port Dover Sailors this Thursday at 8:20pm then head to Dunnville on Friday to take on the Mudcats, then are in Port Dover on Sunday afternoon.
